IFSCA regulates banking, capital markets, insurance, funds and related services in the IFSC. Applications for IFSCA registration and the SEZ approval go through one online system, the Single Window IT System (SWIT).
IFSC units transact in specified foreign currencies. Rupee accounts are allowed for local administrative and statutory expenses.
Eligible IFSC units can claim a 100% deduction on qualifying business income for any 20 consecutive years out of 25, from tax year 2026-27. After that, IFSC business income is taxed at 15%. We confirm what applies to your structure.
